Our Endoscopy business is growing and we have an exciting role for a Territory Manager to join a high performing, dedicated and highly respected team, partner with our hospital customer networks and drive territory sales revenue in Queensland!

The Endoscopy Operating Unit has created a business out of disrupting the status quo in the detection, prevention, and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers and chronic diseases. We’ve done this by commercializing transformational gastrointestinal technologies that improve patient management and standards of care, while increasing access to our innovations across the globe.
As a Territory Manager you will bring your tech savviness, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to passionately promote and sell our products in the public and private sectors both virtually and face to face. Successfully delivering against sales targets and strategy will require you to be commercially astute, resilient and self-driven.
Reporting to the Business Manager for Endoscopy and based in Brisbane , this role is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of our largest territory Queensland North region .
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Plan work to achieve or exceed sales targets while maintaining a professional image for Medtronic in the marketplace.
Seek new business by planning meetings with key personnel.
Strive to understand customer needs and provides credible alternatives that effect mutually beneficial outcomes for the customer and the company.
Provide education & training effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff.
Manage customer queries in a professional manner. Ensure timely follow-up and prompt resolution to customer/patient technical and product issues, including after-hours support when needed.
Ensure the highest level of product and technical knowledge is attained and maintained.
Gather market intelligence (product, price, promotion, discount etc.) by observation, discussion, or research. Sources of intelligence will include customers, competitors, suppliers, and anyone else affected by its range of products.
Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products.
Actively seek to develop and expand on territory management and selling skills. All activities and planning are conducted with Salesforce.com .
Required Knowledge and Experience:
High School certificate and minimum 6 years relevant experience and working knowledge of company products and services
Demonstrated success in sales roles within medical devices or pharmaceuticals industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present professionally
Customer focused: Understands and delivers excellent customer service
Ability to build credible relationships with all key stakeholders, including specialists and peers
Willingness and ability to learn complex technical information and be clinically astute
Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to compliance and OHS
Valid driver’s license and own transport and willingness to travel as required for work
Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
Many of the Endoscopy products are “software driven”. Computer competency is a key requirement
