Join Medtronic and lead a high-performing sales organization within our Cardiovascular portfolio, spanning Interventional Cardiology as well as Structural Heart and Hypertension therapies & Arrhythmia.
In this strategic leadership role, you will drive commercial success across innovative technologies to expanding growth in transformative structural and vascular therapies. These include Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) solutions for patients with severe aortic stenosis, advanced aortic repair technologies, and Renal Denervation (RDN) systems designed to treat resistant hypertension.

This is a full-time leadership role based in Prague, Czech Republic, with responsibility for the national Interventional business and direct leadership of a team of seven sales professionals. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and close collaboration with healthcare providers, hospital stakeholders, and internal clinical and marketing partners. Regular travel within the country is expected to support customers, develop accounts, and coach the team in the field.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of eight sales representatives to achieve and exceed regional sales targets and business objectives
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow market share in Interventional therapies
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cardiologists, electrophysiologists, hospital management, and procurement teams
Identify new business opportunities, analyze market trends and competitive activity, and implement programs to support sustainable growth
Partner with cross-functional teams including Clinical, Marketing, and Service to ensure high-quality customer support and successful therapy adoption
Monitor sales performance, provide regular coaching and feedback, and drive a high-performance, accountable team culture
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in interventional cardiology, structural heart, or vascular environments, with strong familiarity in complex capital equipment and procedure-based medical technologies. Additionally, solid exposure to Diabetology, including insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), or integrated digital diabetes management solutions is highly valued. Experience in therapy-driven, patient-centric business models, long-term disease management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement (physicians, nurses, hospital administration, and outpatient care teams) is considered a strong asset.
Proven experience in medical device or healthcare sales, including experience managing key hospital accounts
Previous people management or team leadership experience in a sales environment of at least 3 years
Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clinical and executive stakeholders
Fluent Czech and English language skills
