A Day in the Life
As a Sales Representative, you are responsible for driving market development in your region by carrying out targeted actions with healthcare professional customers, including physicians, surgeons, buyers, biomedical engineers, and/or members of executive management in both public and private institutions. You promote and sell the products within your portfolio and are accountable for achieving revenue and growth objectives in your sector, while fully adhering to Medtronic’s values.
Within the Medical Surgical group, you will report to the Endoscopy operating unit, which notably offers a range of endoscopy products for therapeutic and diagnostic digestive endoscopy. You will be part of the Central regional team. Your portfolio includes innovative products for the diagnosis and therapeutic treatment of hepatology and gastroenterology, covering both capital equipment and consumables. For this position, your territory will be the Center of Spain, with base in Madrid.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Promotes and sells Medtronic's Endoscopy products and services in Madrid and surrounding
Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including Kol´s, clinical, and c- suits
Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Endoscopy Medtronic products (equipment and fungible)
Promotes and establishes awareness and education of the Endoscopy products
Conducts market Endoscopy strategical research including customers and competitors activities
Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Life science, engineering or another relevant degree
At least 3 years selling experience in a sales role in the medical device industry
Knowledge of the local market and of the decision making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement)
Fluency in English and Spanish; SalesForce or similar competencies
Advanced presentation and negotiation skills; able to operate in competitive environments and adapt quickly to change
Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision; Team oriented.
