Job Summary
Your Career
This role is a strategic hybrid position combining Program Management for Japan and providing People Business Partnering to our Technical support team. Reporting to the VP People - JAPAC Region, Edweena Stratton , you will be a key driver in achieving the Japan People Team’s North Star —our vision to elevate talent and organizational capability.
As the PBP for the Technical Support Team , you will provide high-touch consultancy to managers and leverage your expert interviewing skills to build high-performing teams. Simultaneously, as a TD Specialist, you will lead implementation and localization of global development programs. We are looking for a proactive professional who can understand Japan-specific development needs and influence global stakeholders to execute impactful solutions.
Your Impact
Contribute to Japan People Team North Star: Act as a strong contributor to the Japan-specific HR strategy, ensuring all initiatives align with the team's long-term vision and the North Star goals.
PBP for Technical Support: Act as the dedicated partner for the Technical Support Team. Provide management coaching, consulting, and lead the selection process for new talent.
Talent Development Localization & Facilitation: Lead the localization and facilitation of Global Talent Development programs. Ensure training content is impactful and culturally relevant for the Japan organization.
Sales Enablement Collaboration: Partner with the Sales Enablement team to accelerate the ramp-up and success of new hire sales roles.
Talent Ecosystems Management: Orchestrate programs for New College Graduates (NCG), Internships, and Early Career talent to build a robust talent pipeline in Japan.
New Hire Orientation: Lead and orchestrate the Local New Hire Orientation program to provide an inspiring onboarding experience.
Performance Elevation (PE) Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end Performance Elevation cycle for the Japan organization, including manager/employee education, schedule management, and system administration.
Lead Inclusion: Proactively drive Inclusion initiatives within Japan to foster a diverse and equitable work environment.
Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of global, regional, and Japan-specific statutory benefits.
Strategic Proposal & Execution: Identify unique development needs within Japan, build consensus with key stakeholders, and proactively propose and execute solutions at a global level.
Qualifications
Your Experience
Professional HR Experience: Solid experience in Talent Development or as a People Business Partner within a global, fast-paced organization.
