Overview The AVP, Data Cloud Applications serves as the strategic and operational lead, responsible for ensuring the successful development, enhancement, and delivery of applications built from Zeta’s Data Cloud. This role bridges client needs, product strategy, and application execution , ensuring that enhancements and net new applications are delivered with quality, speed, and clear business impact. The AVP will work cross-functionally across Zeta teams to translate client problems and industry opportunities into scalable application solutions while leading and mentoring a global Applications team. The ideal candidate combines product leadership, technical fluency, client empathy, and operational rigor , with a strong ability to coach teams, prioritize effectively, and drive execution across complex initiatives. This role requires a highly hands-on leader who operates as a player-coach, working closely with the team in the details of application development while providing strategic guidance and leadership. The AVP is expected to deeply understand how applications are built within the Data Cloud ecosystem to effectively guide the team, remove obstacles, and ensure high-quality delivery. This role operates across both internal execution and external engagement, with approximately 60% focused on leading and working hands-on with internal teams to enhance and develop applications, and 40% dedicated to client-facing activities, including solutioning, demos, and incorporating client feedback into the application roadmap. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement Problem Solving Partner with the EVP, Data Cloud Applications in top-tier client discussions to identify application gaps, enhancements, and new solution opportunities. Translate client challenges into actionable application development initiatives. Coordinate communication across clients, the Applications team, and internal Zeta stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress. Act as a trusted internal voice for client-driven innovation. Application Roadmap Ownership Oversee and ensure execution of the application roadmap across enhancements and net new applications. Continuously prioritize initiatives based on business objectives, client demand, industry trends, and business impact vs. development effort Review and finalize Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to ensure completeness and clarity and validate new ideas through testing before roadmap inclusion. Generate and evaluate new application concepts based on market opportunities. Communicate roadmap timelines and launch plans with the Project Management team and the Product Ops team to ensure sufficient training, enablement, and marketing resources are available for each launch. Execution Delivery Leadership Lead program reviews, track milestones, and proactively manage risks and dependencies. Hold teams accountable for quality and timelines.
