The role combines API-led integration with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) to enable automated extraction, transformation, and routing of business-critical data. You will work on scalable solutions connecting systems like Salesforce, ERP platforms, and databases, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance data flows across the organization. Challenge We are looking for a Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer to design and implement API integrations and document processing pipelines in a complex enterprise environment. This role has a strong focus on Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) — transforming unstructured data (documents, invoices, forms) into structured data that can be consumed by enterprise systems. You will build end-to-end workflows, integrate OCR and classification outputs, and ensure data is validated, audited, and reliably delivered across downstream systems. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. - Build REST and SOAP APIs for real-time and batch integrations. - Design RAML-based APIs following API-led connectivity patterns. - Implement data transformations using DataWeave. - Develop integrations supporting Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) workflows. - Build end-to-end pipelines for document ingestion, OCR output processing, classification, and data extraction. - Route extracted document data to downstream systems such as Salesforce, ERP platforms, and databases. - Support document-driven use cases such as invoice processing, purchase orders, contracts, and forms. - Implement validation, exception handling, audit logging, and reconciliation processes for document-based integrations. - Support both real-time and batch document processing patterns. - Develop integrations with Salesforce using REST and Bulk APIs. - Work with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases for ETL-style data processing. - Deploy Mule applications to CloudHub or on-prem environments. - Manage API gateways, security policies, and rate limiting. - Monitor integrations and troubleshoot performance issues and failures. - Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements and data mappings. Mandatory Skills: - Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. - Strong experience with Mule 4 and DataWeave 2.0. - Experience designing RAML-based APIs and API-led architectures. - Experience building integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. - Experience with Salesforce integrations. - Strong experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases. - Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, views, stored procedures). - Experience with identity and security protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, SAML). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows. - Strong understanding of secure integration practices (TLS, certificates, token management). - Experience building scalable and reliable integration solutions. - Strong English communication skills. Nice to Have: - Experience integrating with IFS Cloud or Workday APIs. - Familiarity with Salesforce objects, SOQL, and field mappings. - Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, JMS, AMQP). - Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - MuleSoft certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD). - Salesforce certifications.
