Please notice that this is a ten-month temporary role. About the Role In this opportunity as a Financial Analyst you will: Gather the appropriate information for the taxes to be calculated -Submit tax returns (preferable for US and Canada) -Prepare balance sheet reconciliations. -Approve journal entries. -Open items reporting, follow-up and escalation with various departments. -Perform month responsibilities with a complete understanding of the tax and reconciliation process and the financial framework within an SAP environment to achieve complete, accurate and compliant tax returns and / or financial statements. -Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partnering organizations by providing regular and frequent communications. -Assist in monthly financial reporting; prepare analysis of accounts as requested. -Assist in projects on process improvements from a tax perspective -Provide training to other team members. About You You’re a fit for this role if your background includes: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required, OR equivalent qualification OR significant development after specialized vocational training OR substantial professional development after High School Degree. Advanced English proficiency is required both written and spoken. Candidates will be tested before setting up the first interview. Previous experience in US & Canada taxes is preferred At least 1- 3 years of professional accounting experience with multi-national companies. Knowledge of common accounting procedures. Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills with a competence in presenting in a professional and influential manner. Attention to fine detail and demonstrate high-level of accuracy. Enterprise resource planning ERP software — for example, SAP, Oracle, BEx, BlackLine. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Strong collaboration skills and effective in a team environment; proven ability to effectively transfer knowledge to build team competence.
