About the Role In this opportunity as Security Operations Analyst, you will: Drive Network Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Lead enterprise-wide security monitoring and incident response operations across a global network, maintaining records of all activities using case management and ticketing technologies. Respond, Analyze & Triage Security Alerts: Detect, analyze, and triage alerts from multiple security tools, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms. Conduct Malware Analysis: Perform analysis of malicious code, including obfuscated scripts, leveraging both open-source and vendor-provided tools to identify and mitigate threats. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Security Teams: Partner with Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) teams to provide actionable feedback on cybersecurity detection and alerting capabilities. Communicate & Report Security Incidents: Prepare and deliver briefings, end-of-shift reports, and client alerts regarding intrusions and compromises affecting network infrastructure, applications, and operating systems. Develop & Maintain Security Documentation: Create and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) and related documentation to ensure consistency, knowledge transfer, and operational continuity across analyst shifts. About You You’re a fit for the role of Security Operations Analyst if your background includes: Bachelor's degree holder with at least 1 to 3 years of experience working in a SOC or on an incident response team is an advantage and amenable to work on a 24/7 shift pattern Hands-on experience performing security investigations across different platforms including OS, networks, cloud, messaging, etc. Experience working in a technology or security-related discipline and knowledge of technology disciplines including networking, workstations, servers, OS, etc. Experience working with various security tools including SIEM, EDR, AV, forensics, firewalls, cloud, etc. Knowledge of cybersecurity attack and defense techniques. An Interest in continually learning and developing new cybersecurity skills. Experience working with cloud cybersecurity tools a plus #LI-HB1 What’s in it For You?
