Vice President, Product Engineering – Corporates (Latam)

As the Vice President of Product Engineering for the Corporates Segment in Latam , you will serve as the senior executive responsible for setting the engineering vision, driving execution at scale, and ensuring our products meet the needs of customers across a diverse and rapidly evolving market. In this role, you will lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams, partner closely with global and regional stakeholders, and help advance the corporate strategy through world-class technology delivery. You will oversee a large engineering organization, influence global strategy, and play a critical leadership role in shaping the future of our products. You will also serve as a catalyst for technology transformation, driving the adoption of AI, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and modern engineering platforms that accelerate innovation and elevate customer outcomes. This includes overseeing AI-enabled solution design, scaling data-driven architectures, modernizing legacy platforms, and embedding intelligence across the product ecosystem. About the Role Provide strategic leadership for the Product Engineering organization supporting the Corporates segment in Latin America, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and global technology strategy. Define and execute the long-term engineering roadmap, balancing innovation, scalability, reliability, customer outcomes, and speed to market. Lead large-scale technology transformation programs, including modernization of platforms, cloud adoption, and the deployment of AI‑powered features and services. Drive the implementation of generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics across the product portfolio. Lead the full product engineering lifecycle—from ideation through delivery—ensuring solutions meet business needs, regulatory expectations, and quality standards. Partner with Product, Business, and customer-facing teams to deeply understand customer requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions, identifying opportunities for AI augmentation and workflow optimization. Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams, including senior managers and technical leaders; foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, continuous improvement, and responsible AI adoption. Oversee budget planning, investment allocation, workforce strategy, and operational performance across multiple engineering groups, including strategic investments in AI platforms and data infrastructure. Drive operational excellence by strengthening engineering processes, delivery frameworks, and performance metrics, supported by AI-driven observability and automation. Ensure adherence to security, data privacy, compliance, and corporate governance standards, including AI governance, model lifecycle management, and ethical data practices. About You Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven ability to lead large, distributed, matrixed engineering teams and deliver complex digital products at scale. Strong technical background with deep knowledge of modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and emerging technology trends. Experience driving technology transformation initiatives, including AI implementation, intelligent automation, data modernization, and adoption of next‑generation engineering platforms. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical and strategic concepts to executive, business, and technical audiences. Demonstrated experience transforming engineering organizations, driving innovation, and implementing operational rigor.
