Asst-Manager – Projects (Tax and Tax Software team)

To ensure project delivery in line with the management-approved roadmap, coordinate with all stakeholders to keep them informed of the latest updates and provide guidance to the team as required. About the Role: To define project scope, goals, deliverables, and create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Build, motivate, and guide project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring performance. Oversee daily project activities, track progress, manage resources, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues that arise. Good experience in working on Third party tools and tax software’s. Manage updating the SurePrep system as per software updates on regular basis by using in-house tools. Updating of new and existing data on the required environments. Troubleshoot issues raised by concerned teams and see to it that it gets resolved ASAP. Serve as the primary contact, providing status updates, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction. Provide project progress report to Management. Building an AI‑first mindset to streamline operations and reduce repetitive manual tasks About You: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Commerce or a related field. Experience in tax software integration and application development is preferred. Familiarity with US tax laws and regulations is an advantage. 8 Yrs of relevant experience. Provide valuable ideas for improving the functionality of our Software/Applications. Documenting issues related to third party applications. Entrusted with the responsibility of testing the in-house developed application and reporting any issues found. Working on client specific requirements. Knowledge of third-party tools and tax software’s Basics for working on Microsoft SQL. Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft excel.
