E-File Analyst - US Tax (Form 1040,1041,1120 & 1065)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Gosystem and UltraTax products (1040,1041, 1065 & 1120 Tax Types). This role involves rigorous testing, issue management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards and drive process improvements. About the Role: Perform comprehensive QA testing for Gosystem/UltraTax products, including forms and MTB regression testing before and after releases. Accurately document issues in the tracker, follow up with developers, and ensure timely resolution and closure. Test assigned states thoroughly within timelines, maintaining quality benchmarks and compliance standards. Analyze locators/scenarios for correct tax calculations and validate system outputs using state guidelines and FAQs. Collaborate with BAs and managers on issue resolution, cross-product training, and ad-hoc project deliverables. Obtain XSD schemas from US State and Federal government sources and develop master schemas for each state. Map various codes and attributes from the XSD schema to the software to generate accurate XML output. Apply appropriate mapping techniques to ensure correct XML generation. Create diverse test scenarios using locators to validate software functionality and generate XML outputs. Submit test samples to the State jurisdictions and get the Forms/Efile Approval Support US developers on critical support calls/tickets, ensuring smooth production releases. Stay updated on product changes, compliance requirements, and complete mandatory eLearning courses during downtime. About You: Graduate or Postgraduate in any field with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in U.S. tax technicals and compliance return preparation. Hands-on experience in QA testing techniques, issue tracking, and regression testing. Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with developers, BAs, and stakeholders. Basic AI Skills: Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot for improving efficiency and automating routine tasks. Ability to leverage AI for test case generation, data analysis, and process optimization.
