Job Description

We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our team in Gdansk. This position is responsible for performing a variety of accounting activities, including balance sheet account reconciliations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support accurate and compliant financial statements. About the Role In this opportunity as an Accounting Analyst, you will: Responsibilities Support finance operations in preparation and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries. Monitor and follow up on reconciling items, escalating issues as appropriate. Perform month-end close responsibilities with a good understanding of the close process and financial reporting. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders through regular communication. Assist in monthly financial reporting and prepare account analyses as needed. Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing operational efficiency. Provide guidance and training to team members as needed. About You You’re a fit for the role of Accounting Analyst if you have the following required qualifications: Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies At least 3 years of professional accounting experience. Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong English communication skills. Certifications / Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification. Ability to think broadly and work across organizational boundaries. Problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective organizational and prioritization abilities.
