Reuters Events are looking for a Business Development Manager to sell into their flagship Food & Agriculture portfolio. In this role, you’ll partner with global clients and secure high-value sponsorship packages across major events in Minneapolis and Amsterdam. Our Food & Ag summits gather the world’s largest FMCG brands, industrial producers, and senior supply chain leaders to explore the strategic and technological forces reshaping how we feed the world. We exist to deliver the strategic business intelligence and foster the relationships that drive a more resilient, sustainable, and profitable global food system. Reuters Events combines Reuters’ globally trusted brand with a leading portfolio of B2B events. We deliver content-led conferences for senior executives driving transformation across industries. About the Role As a Business Development Manager at Reuters Events , you will: Collaborate across our Food & Agriculture portfolio to sell tailored sponsorship packages to a variety of global solution providers, from biotech startups to heavy equipment manufacturers. Engage with cutting-edge solution providers across ag-tech, regenerative farming, and supply chain logistics, introducing them to strategic partnership opportunities at our flagship global events. Craft compelling outreach and articulate clear value propositions to global clients, helping them understand how our platform connects them to the farm-to-fork ecosystem. Take a consultative approach, aligning a client’s commercial goals—whether that’s market entry or brand leadership—to the right sponsorship solutions. Immerse yourself in industry trends, including precision agriculture, decarbonization, food security, CRISPR technology, and the future of alternative proteins. Partner closely with the Conference Production team to shape event audiences, identify high-value executive segments, and maximize the commercial success of our global Food & Ag leadership summits. About You You’re a fit for the Business Development Manager  position if you have: Demonstrable experience in the events industry, selling sponsorship packages or complex B2B solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to represent the Reuters brand when engaging with senior leaders and C-level executives. Proven B2B sales and new business development experience — preferably in events, publishing, or a conference-led environment. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within an executive-focused portfolio team. The desire to grow your career, build subject-matter expertise and benefit from an uncapped commission structure designed to reward success. The ability to understand market dynamics and communicate solutions clearly across phone, video and in-person settings. An interest in (or willingness to learn) the evolving Food and Agriculture landscape, such as how precision data, regenerative practices, and emerging technologies are reshaping global food security & business strategy.
