Project Manager

The Project Manager of Tax will be responsible for planning and executing complex tax automation and technology projects, ensuring their successful delivery to customers. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, implementation, customer support, product management, and sales. The manager will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure project alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, they will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with external clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities to effectively manage client expectations and build trust. The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in managing software development projects. They should also have experience working on TAX applications (TAX ONE, TAX Determination and DFe). Overall, the Manager of Tax projects must demonstrate a deep understanding of project management principles, combined with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. About the Role As Project Manager of Tax Projects, you will: • Lead multiple large-scale tax automation and technology projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, implementation, customer support, product management, and sales, to plan and execute complex tax projects. • Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as finance, legal, compliance, and risk management, to align projects with organizational goals. • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise messaging during all stages of project delivery. • Monitor progress against project milestones, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies accordingly. • Apply waterfall model methodology to manage the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and post-launch support. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. About You You’re a fit for this role if your background includes: • Strong understanding of tax regulations and industry best practices. • Fluency in English and Spanish (required). • Experience working on enterprise applications, ideally in the tax. • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and MS Project. #LI-CA1 O que iremos te oferecer?
