Anaplan is looking for a passionate Product Analyst to join our team, focusing on the core experience of our Anaplan application builders. This role will work directly with our platform engineering teams to analyze the needs of our application building community, validate scenarios, and provide data-driven feedback that shapes the future of our platform. The ideal candidate is an Anaplan model builder who is ready to apply their deep domain knowledge to an analytical role, providing critical insights into the builder's experience within the engineering organization. Your Impact Support the Product team in refining the product backlog by providing data-driven insights on current usage patterns and exploring new use cases. Partner with Product Owners and platform engineering to analyze, research, and validate detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. Actively participate in backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning meetings, and sprint reviews to ensure the engineering team has a clear understanding of the customer impact of what they are building. Leverage your deep Anaplan model building expertise to validate complex scenarios on the application framework, analyze current usage patterns, and ensure new platform capabilities meet the real-world needs of our builders. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX designers, technical writers, and other stakeholders to help deliver high-quality, well-documented platform features. Support the user story acceptance process by performing detailed validation of features against acceptance criteria to ensure they deliver the intended value. Effectively communicate analytical findings, usage patterns, and feedback to the broader application framework team and stakeholders across the organization. Required Skills Hands-on experience in Anaplan model building, including module design, formula writing, and data integration, to effectively analyze and validate platform capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down large, complex problems into smaller, manageable pieces for analysis. Excellent proficiency with Agile development management tools, particularly Jira and Confluence. Ability to analyze complex business and user needs and provide clear, data-driven feedback to a technical team. Experience with data analysis and tools to understand usage patterns is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
