About the role: We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. This role can be tailored to either a balanced 50/50 full stack position or one with a stronger focus on front-end development - depending on your strengths and interests. You'll collaborate to deliver high-impact features, engaging user experiences, and robust backend systems that power our platform. You'll contribute to technical decisions and hands-on implementation within a tight-knit, agile team focused on delivering value to our users. What you'll do: - Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript (ReactJS) and C# (.NET) - Support and enhance backend services to ensure seamless integration and robust system functionality - Work with designers, product owners, and the team to take concepts from idea to delivery, with a focus on usability and performance - Participate in planning, prioritisation, and execution within agile sprint cycles - Contribute to architectural discussions for both front-end and back-end, helping to ensure maintainability and scalability - Follow engineering best practices, code quality standards, accessibility, and promote continuous improvement - Stay current with emerging technologies and share insights with the team - Help ensure system reliability and meet objectives through high-quality, maintainable code What you’ll bring: - 3+ years of experience building production software in full stack or front-end-focused roles using modern frameworks - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in React.js (or similar), as well as C# and .NET - Experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices - Experience working with Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus - Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g. GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus) - Passion for crafting intuitive, responsive, and accessible software - Commitment to testing, quality, and reliable delivery across the software stack - Strong collaboration and communication skills – you enjoy working cross-functionally - Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and problem solving in a dynamic environment Key benefits: - Collaborative teams – a flat structure means everyone can learn from colleagues and senior leaders around the business. - Be involved – come together with all of your colleagues every 100 days to share the product and technology roadmap and business strategy. - Flexible working environment – we’re headquartered in North Sydney with state-based workplaces and offer a flexible work policy. - Family support – industry leading 26 weeks paid parental leave. - Purpose built spaces within our office – designed for collaboration, brainstorming, socialising, and focused work. - Range of benefits supporting your physical, psychological and financial wellbeing.
