Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

The Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring top talent across the organization. You will partner closely with hiring leaders to build high-performing teams and drive hiring outcomes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role requires a strong executor with exceptional relationship-building skills and a proven track record of successfully closing critical hires.
What You’ll Do
Partner with hiring managers across multiple functions to understand hiring needs, business goals, and team dynamics
Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent
Own the end-to-end recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
Conduct thoughtful candidate assessments to ensure alignment with role requirements and company values
Provide guidance to hiring managers on talent market insights, hiring trends, and best practices
Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through clear communication and strong process management
Track recruiting activity, metrics, and outcomes to continuously improve hiring effectiveness
What You’ll Need
3+ years of recruiting experience in a startup, or in-house environment
Demonstrated success hiring across a variety of roles and functions
Strong ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess talent and align candidates to business needs
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Data-driven mindset with a focus on delivering results
This role will require consistent on-site presence at our office in Santa Clara / San Jose, with an expectation of 4 days per week in office.

We foster a pay-for-performance culture and reward contributions that support the Company’s strategy. For this position, we are targeting a base pay between $100,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
