Our team works closely with Sales Engineers, UCaaS Advisors, Product Management, Architecture, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure Zoom Phone meets the highest standards for reliability and performance. Responsibilities Translating business objectives into comprehensive telephony solution strategies for enterprise customers Partnering with Sales Engineers, UCaaS Advisors, and specialists to align technical recommendations with customer needs Collaborating with product, architecture, and quality teams to test and validate new telephony features before production release Demonstrating advanced UCaaS and CCaaS solutions to technical and executive audiences Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex telephony and network configurations during proof-of-concept phases Influencing product roadmaps by sharing customer use cases and market insights with Product Management teams Delivering targeted demonstrations showcasing telephony integrations, AI-powered features, and workflow automations Creating and maintaining technical documentation to support solution delivery and sales enablement Mentoring team members on advanced telephony concepts and best practices What We're Looking For Bringing 7 years of experience in technical pre-sales or customer-facing engineering roles Demonstrating expert-level understanding of telephony technologies, including SIP, RTP, QoS, COS, codecs, and PBX architectures Applying strong knowledge of enterprise networking fundamentals: routing, switching, LAN/WAN, firewalls, TCP/IP (IPv4), DNS, and SBCs Understanding UCaaS and CCaaS market landscape, including competitors like Microsoft, Cisco, RingCentral, Amazon, and 8x8 Collaborating effectively across departments—product management, QA, architecture, and customer success Communicating complex technical concepts in clear, business-relevant terms Holding certifications such as MCSE, CCIE, or equivalent networking and telecommunication credentials (preferred) Thriving in dynamic, growth-oriented environments with a self-motivated and analytical approach Salary Range or On Target Earnings: Minimum: $146,000.00 Maximum: $319,400.00 In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
