You Are: As an experienced AWS/DevOps Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure cloud environments as part of a data broker modernization effort for military medical situational awareness. The Work: Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and operations in air-gapped or restricted network environments Utilize a strong Linux background, hands-on AWS experience, and proven DevOps practices to support secure, mission-critical systems Here’s What You Need Active Secret clearance required Must be willing to work onsite 2-3x per week in Falls Church, VA 4+ years of experience with Linux (Red Hat, CentOS or Oracle Linux preferred), Python, AWS and git experience 3+ years of experience with DevOps (configuration management (Ansible preferred), application deployment, and security Strong experience with AWS core services Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) CompTia Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 compliant certificate Bonus Points If You Have: Experience working in a federal or public sector environment AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent AWS Certified Security – Specialty or equivalent Experience in delivering, securing and managing container-based applications Experience working on Agile Software Teams Experience in supporting DoD customers in a technical environment Experience with government cloud solutions (AWS, Azure etc.) As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
