2026 Intern- Software Engineer

This opportunity is based in Basel, Switzerland, with a hybrid schedule (2–3 days/week onsite). The internship is 6 months long, starting on 1 July 2026 and ending on 31 December 2026 . In Basel we build Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), the industry leader in Experience Management. AEM helps our customers design, manage, and deliver high-quality digital experiences for the world’s biggest brands . We are having multiple internship projects open in the following areas: Backend development (Java and/or NodeJS) Frontend development (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript) Cloud Engineering Data Science Machine Learning / AI What's in it for you? Curiosity and drive: you’re eager to learn, explore new ideas , and contribute to a global, market-leading company . Currently enrolled full-time and pursuing a Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience required with an expected graduation date in 2027, at a Swiss or EU University. Passionate about programming with a good understanding of concepts such as Data Structures, OOP, Algorithms, and Problem Solving. Excited to work across data science, AI, and analytics, helping to prepare and explore datasets, experiment with machine learning models, and create insights that support data-driven decisions across products. Good understanding of web technologies. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations . Team collaboration: You enjoy working with others to deliver thoughtful, end-to-end solutions . Big picture thinking: You can connect the dots between day-to-day tasks and broader organisational goals . Ability to participate in a full-time internship between July-December. What to expect from the recruitment process ? Our selection process typically consists of three stages as follows: 60-minute Online Assessment . 90-minute Technical Interview with the team . 45-minute Soft-Skills Interview with the Hiring Manager.
