Our FP&A team plays a critical role in driving financial strategy, supporting decision-making, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our business across subscriptions, advertising, and emerging revenue streams. Why this role matters The Associate Director of FP&A is a key functional leader within the Finance organization who acts as a strategic partner to senior editorial and commercial stakeholders, owns critical planning processes, and leads a team responsible for delivering high-impact financial insights. This leadership role is designed for high organizational impact — combining strong analytical rigor, business partnership, and people leadership. The Associate Director will operate as a deputy to the Senior Director of FP&A and a key member of the extended CFO leadership team, driving both execution and forward-looking strategy. How you will Support the mission Financial Planning & Forecasting Lead consolidation effort around monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, speed, and transparency Maintain and improve driver-based financial models to support revenue and cost planning Identify risks and opportunities, proactively updating forecasts and communicating implications, in collaboration with other FP&A leaders Strategic Business Partnership Partner with leaders across editorial, product, advertising, and subscription teams to inform decision-making around our content strategy in News and Opinions Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights that shape business strategy Challenge assumptions and elevate thinking to improve resource allocation and ROI Performance Management & Reporting Oversee management reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking Deliver concise, executive-ready materials for senior leadership Continuously improve reporting frameworks to enhance clarity and speed Team Leadership & Development Manage and develop a team of FP&A analysts Foster a high-performance culture focused on ownership, ...
