ABOUT THE TEAM Anduril’s Tactical Recon Strike (TRS) is a division with two missions: 1) build highly capable autonomous drones, and 2) build solid rocket motors at scale. We transform products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from early concepts into fully operational capabilities by partnering closely with specialist engineering, operations, and production teams. Through our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team, we design and manufacture solid rocket motors using advanced materials, proprietary formulations, and high-volume production methods—delivering safe, reliable propulsion systems that support a wide range of mission requirements. TRS hires software engineers hardware engineers, who are excited to build across a diverse and powerful portfolio—from autonomous aerial systems to high-performance solid rocket motors. Our teams contribute to highly capable autonomous robotics systems and propulsion products that operate reliably in the most demanding mission environment. ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Technical Lead Manager, Electrical Engineering, to join our rapidly growing team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end embedded control electronic systems and subsystems development for UAVs and related equipment. You will also be leading a team of engineers, and establishing robust design, integration, testing, and validation processes. This will require expertise in PCB design, subsystem integration, process management, vendor coordination. If you are someone who has led teams supporting rapid embedded control electronics development, then this role is for you. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead avionics system development from concept through production, ensuring seamless integration, reliability, and performance across Anduril's air systems. Provide technical guidance and manage a team of Electrical Engineers, driving technical execution and professional growth within the Tactical Recon Strike Electrical Engineering team. Assign Electrical Engineers to projects and reconcile resource conflicts. Identify new resource requirements, recruit, interview hire new employees. Evaluate staff performance, communicate areas for improvement for employees, and provide recommendations for compensation promotions. Oversee full-cycle PCB and Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) development, guiding requirements derivation, schematic design, component selection, layout, board bring-up, and system integration, testing, and debugging. Architect and develop flight-critical embedded control electronic systems with an emphasis on high-reliability, resiliency, redundancy, and fault tolerance, collaborating cross-functionally to define product specifications and ensure mission success. Oversee sub-system and system-level testing and validation to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and reliability standards. Ensure engineering excellence by overseeing design reviews, analysis, and hardware testing to ensure product reliability in many of the harshest environments on earth.
