Title and Summary Managing Consultant, Services Business Development Managing Consultant, Services (VAS) – Bangladesh Location : Dhaka, Bangladesh Overview The Mastercard Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services to Issuing & Acquiring Banks, Merchants and Government. The breadth of services span across Strategy, Digital, AI, Marketing, Analytics, Fraud and Risk Management. The Managing Consultant, Services Business Development is part of the South Asia Business Development team. As a key team member, the person will be responsible for customer engagement at Senior Management level and for driving Services business in the Bangladesh market. The person will also be involved in review of projects delivered by project delivery team. Role • Managing the Sales Process • Engage with country account management teams and internal teams to assess client needs and translate into a services proposal • Preparation of sales presentations for clients • Responsible for sales and gross revenue, including platform and recurring revenue optimization, working hand in glove with delivery capabilities on engagement quality and exploring opportunities for up-sell, add-on, cross-sell, etc. • Lead / support pitches from storyboarding and engage through face-to-face / virtual interactions • Manage the sales process from first discussions to contract signed • Oversee project delivery and participate in key meetings to ensure successful completion over and above what was promised to clients • Ensuring continuous and expanded follow-on work • Build relationship with key stakeholders in Banks and Non FI clients • Provide regular updates on sales and revenue tracking to leadership All About You • Masters Degree/MBA from a reputed educational institution • 8-10 years of Consulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm or Payments / Fintech/ Telco/ cards experience with a Bank; experience helping large institutions at the leadership level will be desirable • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills • Excellent analytic skills • Demonstrates the ability to initiate, develop, and close a sale • Ability to work on a team or independently • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Highest level of self-motivation with a hunting-attitude • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills • Proficiency in written and verbal English Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
