SUMMARY - Manages technical projects in a product development organization, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinates technical cross-discipline teams through meetings and progress measurement activity, which bring distinct, specific projects to completion on time and within budget. For roles managing engineering project schedules and deliverables, use the Engineering Project Management job family. For responsibilities leading cross functional core team(s) and utilizing Offer Lifecycle. ACCOUNTABILITIES Manages technical projects in a product development organization, or specific activities related to projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of the project Allocates work among team members and provides guidance on a regular basis Conducts periodic reviews of the technical scope to ensure project is on track and conducts post-project reviews Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis Utilizes relevant project management tools, systems, and applications Defines supporting and/or driving process improvements Knowledge & Application Complete Knowledge And Full Understanding Of Area Of Specialization, Principles and Practices Within A Professional Discipline Assesses Unusual Circumstances And Uses Sophisticated Analytical And Problem-Solving Techniques To Identify Cause.
