The International Expansion Strategy team is responsible for driving the portfolio strategy and plan for adoption and accelerated growth of our expansion portfolio of solutions, including software, video (Fixed Video and Mobile Video) and services.
Job Description
The Fixed Video International Strategy and Sales Enablement Manager position is a key focus area for our business and includes responsibility for the entire International region. This includes defining and launching a go to market model to deliver fixed video security solutions for traditional Motorola Solutions customers. The Fixed Video International Strategy and Sales Enablement Manager will lead the effort in gathering market size information, customer inputs, sales team inputs, to support creating the core materials needed to equip our sales teams to successfully sell these new products and solutions. In this role, you will partner closely with the video, global marketing, launch & sales enablement, and internal stakeholders across Motorola Solutions to drive our strategy and plan for adoption and accelerated growth of our fixed video portfolio of products.
You will have to analyze industry use cases, understand different customer needs, SaaS business models, and recommend offers to reach all customers that communicate the value of our products. We’re looking for someone who can develop innovative approaches with shared value for our customers, our partners, and Motorola Solutions
Scope of Responsibilities:
Lead strategic initiatives to expand and grow sales of fixed video, analytics and access control solutions
Identify and champion market research efforts to ensure value propositions that will exceed our customer expectations.
Gather and analyze the voice of the customer and sales to develop solution requirements.
Define a go to market strategy that aligns and enables growth in both our government and enterprise businesses.
Analyze business opportunities to grow the portfolio both organically and inorganically.
Maintain and communicate product solution roadmaps.
Develop the customer value proposition to positively differentiate our product in the market.
Research and maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape and overall market trends to define market leading solutions.
Define and communicate product positioning and key product messages to regional sales teams and work closely with Marketing Communications on the content of product marketing collateral.
Support and deliver customer presentations and become a regional market expert on solution.
Support sales opportunities during the needs analysis process, confirm that MSI’s video products meet the prospect’s requirements and assist in technical qualifications.
Basic Requirements
5 years progressive experience with a strong understanding of the video surveillance, video analytics and access control markets
Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP communication
Prior experience in strategy or sales engineering roles is desirable
Delivering Product Demos to end users
Engaging and building relationships with channel partners and end users
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus
Strong business analytical skills
Solid understanding of SaaS, cloud technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.
Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow-through.
