Smartsheet is looking for a Solutions Consultant in Professional Services Delivery to act as a strategic partner for our customers, helping them navigate complex business challenges through an advisory-led approach to professional services. You will help customers rethink their business processes by designing and deploying capabilities that leverage modern automation and AI-native solutions. You will lead several concurrent projects, moving beyond basic implementation to deeply understand a customer’s core objectives and deliver solutions that drive digital transformation and measurable organizational change. We are looking for a consultant who balances technical execution with a consultative mindset—someone who can manage the details of project delivery while partnering with account teams to identify new opportunities for customer growth and expansion. You will report to the Manager, Consulting. This is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered. You Will: Be the Expert in the Room: Lead your customers and your cross functional peers through strong business and technical acumen by advising them on best practices that drive measurable value, advising customers to modernize and optimize their workflows across a variety of industries and use cases. Lead Transformational Engagements: Partner with customers to design and implement strategic solutions, leveraging a broad range of Smartsheet capabilities to drive organizational change and maximize long-term value. Design Modern Solutions: Lead in-depth discovery sessions to understand business challenges and design custom solutions that incorporate AI-native functionalities and best-in-class automation. Iterate and Build: Develop Smartsheet solutions through prototyping and iterative sprints, incorporating frequent customer feedback to ensure the final product meets complex business needs. Validate and Quality Test: Review solution designs through internal testing and facilitate user acceptance testing with stakeholders to ensure deliverable accuracy and depth. Manage Project Outcomes: Take full ownership of project delivery, including timeline, deliverables, scope, and budget, while taking a proactive approach to mitigating risks in partnership with the customer team, internal project team, and internal account team. Commit to Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay current on rapidly evolving industry trends and Smartsheet capabilities, maintaining an open mindset toward testing, learning, and sharing new delivery methodologies. Collaborate and Mentor: Partner with fellow consulting team members to share insights from customers and relevant industries and participate in the department’s mentor program both as a mentee and mentor. Partner on Expansion Opportunities: Identify product and services expansion opportunities, collaborating closely with Sales to influence account strategy and drive customer growth. Maintain Operational Standards: Consistently perform against individual and team KPIs, including target billable utilization, project margin targets, customer satisfaction ratings, and accurate data maintenance.
