DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in our software development and operations efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, as well as experience with a variety of DevOps tools and technologies. They will be responsible for automating and streamlining our software development and deployment process, ensuring that our applications are released quickly and reliably. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development and operations. You will work closely with developers, testers, and other operations teams to automate the software delivery process, implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and monitor and optimize system performance. The ideal candidate also needs to have engineering mindset and principals which they can bring into DevOps. Responsibilities · Design, develop, and implement DevOps processes and tools to automate and streamline the software development and deployment lifecycle. · Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software applications. · Monitor system performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. · Document and maintain DevOps processes and procedures. · Stay up to date on the latest DevOps trends and technologies. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field. · 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or a related role. · Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. · Experience with a variety of DevOps tools and technologies, including: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Ansible Containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD Infrastructure monitoring tools, such as Prometheus or Grafana. · Excellent scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.). · Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
