This role sits at the intersection of technical capability and business impact. You won't be working in a corner of the analytics function that feeds dashboards nobody reads. You'll be engaging directly with business stakeholders across functions and geographies, translating their questions into analysis, and translating that analysis back into decisions. You'll engage key business stakeholders to understand their analytic and reporting needs, design the right approach, and deliver findings in formats that drive action rather than just inform. Day to day, you'll query data from internal and external databases using SQL and U-SQL, clean and interpret datasets, and apply statistical techniques to turn raw data into structured insight. You'll build models, analyses, and data transformations using Excel, SQL, and R — and you'll test and QA your own code with the rigour that comes from knowing your output will influence real decisions. The communication side is just as important as the technical side. You'll design presentations of analytic findings that are clear, user-friendly, and built for the audience — whether that's a finance lead, a country manager, or a commercial team asking a complicated question about customer behaviour. You'll also train stakeholders across the business to improve data fluency, which means you'll be building capability, not just delivering conclusions.
