A Day in the Life The Acute Care & Monitoring team at Medtronic is dedicated to advancing airway management and monitoring therapies that support critically ill patients. Built on a strong foundation of clinical science and real‑world ICU practice, we empower clinicians with world‑class technology to deliver more personalized patient care—anytime, anywhere. We are currently looking for a driven, clinically minded Sales Specialist who is motivated by making a real difference in the ICU environment. If you thrive at the intersection of sales, clinical expertise, and patient impact—and are energized by meaningful discussions around airway management and acute care—this could be a unique opportunity for you. With a clear focus on growing sales across Belgium, you will work closely with the Benelux Commercial team, Marketing, and the Tender organization, and report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. You are expected to travel regularly across Belgium. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Promote Airway Management products and solutions in close collaboration with the Remote Sales team in Belgium Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with clinical stakeholders, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and local advisory boards Deliver training and education to clinicians on the Airway Management portfolio Conduct regular business reviews with key customers Engage confidently with anesthesiologists, intensivists, nurses, purchasers and hospital decision makers on topics that truly matter for patient outcomes Become a trusted partner to clinical teams working at the frontline of critical care Required Knowledge and Experience: Minimum 5 years of field sales experience within the Acute Care environment (ICU, OR, etc.) Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a nurse in an ICU, Anesthesia Department, or a similar setting Strong and established network within the Belgian healthcare sector Language proficiency in French, Dutch (Flemish), and English Clear, confident, and assertive communicator with excellent presentation skills Strong team player with a solution-oriented, commercially driven mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
