In this exciting opportunity as a Therapy Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in giving technical and Operating Room support to customers in order to increase Medtronic Market Share through technical support and training to health professionals on our ablation technology therapies. You will also be in charge of the inventory, control and sanity check of the pool of equipment in order to ensure fast and proper coverage of our installation base. For this remote position, you will be cover the whole country and expected to be located in Lisboa.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
Develop, build, and strength long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals
Be responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services
Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services
Conduct market research including customers and competitors’ activities
Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, BA, or another relevant degree
At least 4 years of selling and experience in the medical device industry will be appreciated
Knowledge of the Medical Industry competitive marketplace
Fluency in English and Portuguese
Full clean driver license
Knowledge of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyers, reimbursement), self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
Highly valuable experience in the interventional radiology, marketing knowledge, sales force competencies or computer literacy will be appreciated. Good level of Spanish will be a plus.
