We are on a mission to safeguard the integrity and trust of our organization by mitigating fraud losses, protecting our reputation, and adhering to compliance and regulatory frameworks—while keeping friction low for our valued clients. We are a results-oriented, globally distributed team of fraud experts who hold integrity, professionalism, collaboration, and accountability as core values. We are currently focused on advancing automation and delivering new tools to better capture emerging fraud trends, with the goal of becoming the #1 leader in fraud controls within the crypto industry. THE OPPORTUNITY - Monitor and analyze information from automated detection systems, tools, and reports - Conduct manual investigations and take necessary actions - Document actions and information found throughout the investigation to develop and maintain case files - Execute routine tasks such as service requests, transaction queries, etc. - Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules - Work independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations - Work together with your team on various projects and initiatives which can also include cross-department collaboration - Meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) & Quality Assurance (QA) standards - Enhance efficiency by streamlining processes and automating tasks when possible - Ensure that work is compliant to Kraken’s Quality and Risk guidelines SKILLS YOU SHOULD HODL - Minimum 2-4 years of experience at a payments processor, card acquirer, bank (risk department), exchange or relevant e-commerce platform - Strong advocate for cryptocurrency along with the deep understanding and passion to innovate and push the industry forward. Experience with buying and selling cryptocurrencies on multiple platforms is preferential, but not necessary - Deep orientation in data privacy and security from both a personal and business standpoint - Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal English - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment utilizing analytical and problem solving skills - Availability to work flexib ...
