About the Internship: The Social Media Engagement Intern will be an integral part of the Okta and Auth0 Community Team within Customer Acceleration. This role is crucial for transforming our social channels (Okta/Auth0 Community, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, Youtube and TikTok) into vibrant support ecosystems, empowering developers and IT professionals, and fostering a thriving community around Okta and Auth0 products. The intern will serve as a frontline content amplifier, driving engagement and supporting our community's growth programming. What You’ll Get to Do: Social Media Management: Drafting, scheduling, and submitting engaging posts across X, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Community Engagement: Actively monitoring social channels, providing timely responses, and fostering interactive conversations. Content Amplification: Collaborating to promote new educational resources like tutorials, webinars, and blog posts. Program Support: Coordinate loyalty, advocacy and expert gamification and reward programs. Reporting Analysis: Assisting with tracking key performance metrics for social campaigns and contributing to impact reports. Who We are Looking For : Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027) in, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Computer Science, or Information Technology Platform Proficiency: High literacy in LinkedIn, X, and Reddit. Writing Skills: Exceptional written communication with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy to consume content. Basic Analytics: Familiarity with social media metrics (Engagement rate, CTR, impressions) and tools like Google Analytics and the ability to translate and present data. Nice to Have: Creative Tools: Basic proficiency in Canva for creating quick social assets. Video Editing: Ability to cut "micro-content" for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts. Community Experience: Previous experience moderating or contributing to online communities and engaging with members. Okta’s Intern Program As an intern, you’ll do real work that matters.
