The Role Arine is looking for a Controller / Director of Accounting to own and scale the company's accounting operations. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the accounting team and be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, audit management, and compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will both manage a team and get into the details as needed. This is a high-impact opportunity to build the accounting foundation for a venture-backed, high-growth healthcare AI company. You will partner closely with FPA, People Operations, and external advisors to ensure Arine's financial infrastructure supports its next stage of growth. What You'll Be Doing: Financial Reporting and Close Own the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing aligned to contract terms, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and monthly revenue forecasting Monitor cash position, manage cash flow forecasting, and oversee banking relationships Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses Produce board-ready financial reporting packages and support investor and lender reporting requirements Manage technical accounting matters including ASC 606 (revenue recognition for SaaS contracts), ASC 718 (stock-based compensation), and ASC 842 (leases); support equity transaction accounting and cap table reconciliation Audit, Tax, and Compliance Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage the annual audit process ...
