Singapore is one of our most strategic and advanced markets globally. As the Country Sales Director for Singapore , you will lead the next phase of our growth, driving the transition from critical communications to fully integrated, intelligent ecosystems (Video Security, AI Analytics, and Command Center Software).
We are seeking a visionary executive and business builder. Your mission is to deepen our strategic partnerships with key government agencies driving the Smart Nation agenda, while simultaneously leading market expansion into the Defense and Tier-1 Enterprise sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Market Expansion & Growth
Lead the Technology Transition: Drive the strategic migration of our massive existing customer base toward advanced, software-centric, and AI-driven ecosystems. Position Motorola Solutions as a holistic technology partner.
New Vertical Penetration: Architect and execute a go-to-market strategy to capture significant market share in Defense and Critical Enterprise infrastructure (Aviation, Maritime, Utilities, and Data Centers).
Proactive Market Shaping: Engage with C-level executives and government leaders well ahead of procurement cycles. Lead consultative engagements and Proof-of-Concept (POC) initiatives to shape the future of critical infrastructure technology in Singapore.
2. Commercial & Operational Excellence
Complex Deal Architecture: Oversee the pursuit and negotiation of large-scale, multi-year infrastructure tenders.
Public Sector Expertise: Navigate highly complex government procurement frameworks, ensuring bids reflect maximum strategic value while maintaining strict adherence to compliance and competitive standards.
Risk & Delivery Governance: Act as the ultimate commercial sponsor for major deployments. Partner with regional legal and delivery teams to ensure rigorous contract governance, SLA adherence, and flawless execution in high-stakes environments.
3. Leadership & Ecosystem Development
Culture of Innovation: Transform and lead a high-performing sales and engineering organization. Foster a proactive, solution-led culture that hunts for integrated, cross-portfolio opportunities.
Partner Strategy: Elevate our local channel and integration ecosystem. Build strategic alliances with top-tier System Integrators (SIs) capable of delivering complex cloud, cybersecurity, and AI integrations.
Basic Requirements
What we are looking for:
Executive Leadership: 15 years of senior sales and business management experience in the B2B/B2G technology sector within Singapore.
The Builder Mindset: A demonstrated track record of leading business transformations—specifically transitioning legacy technology portfolios into SaaS, Software, or integrated ecosystem models.
Elite Network: Deep, established relationships at the executive level within Singapore’s Public Sector, Defense, Government-Linked Companies (GLCs), and major infrastructure operators.
Mega-Deal Pedigree: Proven experience leading the strategy and negotiation for highly complex, multi-million dollar technology infrastructure projects.
