Job Summary Job Summary Prisma Access™ (formally GlobalProtect Cloud Service) provides protection straight from the cloud to make access to the cloud secure. It combines the connectivity and security you need and delivers it everywhere you need it. Using cutting-edge public and private cloud technologies extending the next-generation security protection to all cloud services, customers on-premise remote networks and mobile users. As a Principal Full Stack Engineer on the Prisma Access team, you will be instrumental in developing our next-generation security offerings. You will focus on creating advanced visualization, monitoring, configuration, and analytics solutions. This role involves designing and implementing new UI web services, managing complex backend deployments, and handling integrations with both public and private cloud environments to protect our digital way of life. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable, modular full-stack architectures, ensuring seamless data flow between high-performance frontend interfaces and robust backend microservices. Actively participate in the full product development lifecycle, from API contract definition and schema design to implementation, automated testing, and CI/CD deployment. Develop and maintain high-concurrency UI web services and RESTful/gRPC APIs that integrate with public (AWS, GCP) and private cloud infrastructures. Optimize data fetching, caching, and state management strategies to handle massive security datasets from distributed systems like BigQuery or Snowflake. Proactively collaborate with design, product, and platform engineering teams to ensure frontend requirements are supported by backend capabilities. Continuously identify, suggest, and implement improvements to development processes, including containerization (Docker/K8s) and server-side performance tuning. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related equivalent field. Minimum of 10 years of professional programming experience with a demonstrated track record of building complex, data-driven web applications. Expert-level proficiency with ReactJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems in high-scale production environments. Strong professional experience in at least one backend language such as GoLang, Python, or Java, with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency. Proven experience designing and building scalable microservices and modular architectures for complex systems. Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and cloud provider services (e.g., AWS Lambda, S3, or DynamoDB).
