ABOUT THE TEAM We are looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant to help Anduril prepare for a future potential IPO, support an ERP transition, integrate acquired businesses, and drive operational excellence. WHAT YOU’LL DO Manage the entire payroll reconciliation process and accurately record all payroll and fringe related accruals at period end. Monitor the HRIS platform to ensure proper Chart of Accounts and department mapping alignment. Collaborate with HR to track high volumes of contingent employee bonuses and calculate monthly amortization. Accrue for and reconcile Travel and Expense (TE) transactions across multiple entities. Develop and implement robust internal controls and procedures related to the payroll accounting process. Prepare footnotes, disclosures, and supporting schedules to support financial reporting. Prepare financial reconciliations timely and be able to research and resolve variances as needed. Prepare analytical reviews of employee compensation and TE expenses to provide color and commentary to monthly, quarterly, and annual financials. Help implement new systems or improve efficiencies with current systems to support continued company and team growth. Contribute to the control environment by establishing, improving, and maintaining operational processes. No job too small mentality, be curious and helpful to others. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Demonstrated experience payroll reconciliations, payroll accruals, and travel and expense tracking (experience with Ramp and Rippling preferred). Highly detail oriented with strong experience in Excel, ERP systems, and US GAAP. CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA preferred. Prior experience in companies that are tech or advanced manufacturing preferred. Healthy mix of technical accounting and operational accounting preferred. Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high growth organization. Able to get hands dirty to drive organizational change while also maintaining an ability to manage up against strategic priorities/reporting. Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities. US Salary Range $98,000 $130,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
