Your Impact Develop and maintain software features and improvements to our products. Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following engineering best practices. Debug, test, and fix issues in development and production environments. Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver the right solutions for customers. Learn and apply modern software development tools, frameworks, and workflows and share learnings with the team. Participate in code reviews, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve code quality. Contribute to the operational side of our distributed systems and highly available microservices. Leverage AI technologies to accelerate the team’s productivity and the delivery of customer features. Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated 3 years of professional experience in software development. Experience in building and maintaining backend services in production environments. Strong knowledge of software development fundamentals and architecture concepts and willingness to learn new technologies quickly. Flexible, thrives in diverse team environments, and communicates clearly and precisely. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the following programming languages: Java or C (system development), Node.js, JavaScript, Python are a plus. Familiarity with one or more web application frameworks and persistence technologies, such as Spring, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Kafka. Familiar with AI coding tools (Codex, Cursor, Copilot). Familiarity with Git, DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery. Ability to apply creative skills to complex problems. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning and quality results. We provide training and mentoring for all new team members to fill in any gaps. CollabHiring Why Cisco?
