SUPO, where required) WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS: As a Satellite Operations Manager, you’ll lead a 24/7 operational team responsible for safe, scalable, and mission-critical spacecraft operations. You will play a key role in shaping how ICEYE operates its growing SAR constellation, ensuring operational excellence, team performance, and readiness to support increasingly complex customer missions. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead and develop a 24/7 satellite operations team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and strong team culture - Oversee nominal and non-nominal spacecraft operations, including telemetry monitoring, anomaly detection, and incident handling - Ensure operational readiness across shifts, including planning, workload balancing, and peak mission support - Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, documentation, and cross-functional coordination with engineering and mission teams WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR MUST HAVES: - Proven experience leading teams in spacecraft or mission-critical operations environments - Strong understanding of spacecraft operations, including telemetry monitoring, anomaly handling, and operational procedures - Experience working in a 24/7 shift-based or high-reliability operational environment - Ability to coordinate effectively across engineering, software, and operational stakeholders NICE TO HAVES: - Experience in SAR, Earth Observation, or LEO constellation operations - Familiarity with anomaly review processes, flight software updates, or operational tooling - Experience supporting customer missions or external operational services APPLICATION PROCESS - Talent Attraction Partner screening (online) - Hiring Manager interview (online) - Task & On-site Interview (Warsaw office) - Senior VP interview (online) WORKING AT ICEYE At ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
