Job Description
Sales Enablement Content Specialist (Parental Leave Cover)
Sales Enablement | 8-month fixed-term contract | London (office-first)
Team description
The Sales Enablement team at SumUp exists to make sure our sales reps have exactly what they need, when they need it, to sell confidently and effectively. As SumUp's sales engine continues to grow across inside sales, field sales, and key accounts, the demand for well-structured, accessible, and high-quality content has never been higher. In this role, you'll be the person who owns that content ecosystem: building, curating, and maintaining the resources that thousands of sales interactions depend on, and helping us explore smarter, AI-powered ways to get the right content into the right hands at the right time.
This is an 8-month parental leave cover contract, with the possibility of extension.
What you'll do
Own Mission Control (our sales knowledge base and microsite) making sure content is easy to find, genuinely useful, and built for how reps actually work (think, field sales who are on the move)
Build relationships with sales leaders across EU markets, connecting regularly to understand what resources their teams need, then bringing those to life. For example one-pagers, guides, video tutorials, slide decks and more
Research, evaluate, and propose platforms and tools that can make content delivery smarter and more scalable across countries and teams
Collaborate with local trainers to make sure materials land correctly in each market
Work closely with subject matter experts across Sales, Marketing, and Product to curate and develop content that reflects our latest positioning, competitive landscape, and product updates before key launches
Lead the rollout of our rebrand across all sales enablement materials, keeping quality and consistency high across every market
You'll be great for this role if
Strong stakeholder management comes naturally, e.g. proactively reaching out to sales leaders, collecting requirements, knowing when to push back, and clearly communicating prioritisation decisions with confidence and context.
Experience with content design and architecture, with a strong feel for how to structure resources for readability, visual hierarchy, and mobile responsiveness.
Leverage a naturally collaborative approach, with the communication skills to build strong relationships across multiple teams.
A sharp sense of audience and usability, understanding that content needs to work for a sales rep in the field, not just look polished on a screen.
Ability to manage a high volume of competing requests from across the sales organisation, making confident, impact-led calls about what gets prioritised.
Comfort working independently as a sole contributor in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, where priorities shift and adaptability is key.
Genuine curiosity about AI and new tools, with the willingness to step outside a traditional content comfort zone to find smarter, more scalable ways of working.
