The Podcast Mission develops strategies and builds products that serve creators and listeners interested in podcast and video content. As the #1 podcast platform in the world, we look to continue improving and scaling the experience of podcasts on Spotify. We build and maintain products like Spotify for Creators and Megaphone, and are always eager to provide creators with easy ways to increase their audiences on Spotify and give them new innovative means for monetization. The Podcast Mission is the product and technology team responsible for building tools that support creators across their entire journey — from hosting and distribution to audience growth, monetization, and insights. Within this mission, the Megatron squad sits in the Creator and Publisher Experience product area. This team owns core analytics surfaces across Spotify for Creators and Megaphone, helping creators better understand their audiences and grow their shows. Formed through the merger of two established teams, the squad is now focused on building a modern analytics platform across Spotify’s podcast ecosystem."
