Meet the Team Our team specializes in server board and printed circuit board (SBT/PCB) design and review, playing a critical role in developing high-speed server and AI system products. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure design quality and consistency across multiple suppliers. The team is composed of experienced engineers with diverse expertise, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Your Impact In this role, you will perform detailed SBT/PCB design and reviews for server and high-speed products, ensuring compliance with signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), electromagnetic interference (EMI), design for manufacturability (DFM), and design for test (DFT) requirements. You will provide actionable feedback to layout engineers and modify layouts to validate design concepts or resolve issues. Leading second-source enablement and driving design alignment across suppliers will be key responsibilities. Success means delivering high-quality, portable designs that meet production readiness and optimize system performance. Responsibilities Perform SBT/PCB design and reviews for server, SBT, and high-speed products Review and validate layouts against SI, PI, EMI, DFM, and DFT requirements Provide detailed feedback on stack-up, routing, vias, and return paths to layout engineers Create and modify layouts to validate design concepts or resolve issues Develop and maintain design guidelines and review checklists Review and approve designs from external vendors Drive design alignment and quality consistency across multiple suppliers Lead second-source enablement including design review, gap analysis, and qualification Ensure design portability and equivalence between primary and secondary suppliers Identify design issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution Collaborate with SI/PI teams to validate simulation results and optimize designs Work with vendors and manufacturing teams to ensure design readiness for mass production Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field 10 years of experience in SBT/PCB design and design review Hands-on SBT/PCB layout experience with ability to create or modify layouts independently Experience with SBT/PCB layout tools such as Allegro and AutoCAD Solid understanding of SI, PI, and EMI fundamentals Preferred Qualifications Experience with server, data center, or AI system boards (SBT) Experience working with SBT/PCB/OSAT suppliers Experience in multi-vendor design review and second-source supplier/material qualification Familiarity with SI/PI simulation tools like HyperLynx, ADS, and Sigrity Strong cross-functional communication skills and good English proficiency SiOps Why Cisco?
