Team mission Growth Data Products (GDP) drives GetYourGuide's growth engine by transforming raw marketing data into reliable, self-service insights and automated decision systems. Our work spans every growth channel: Paid and Organic Search, Display Advertising, CRM and Lifecycle Marketing, Brand Marketing, Marketing Attribution, Experimentation, and Customer Lifetime Value measurement. We empower teams across the organization to make faster, smarter decisions at scale, turning data into actionable intelligence that fuels our mission to connect millions with unforgettable travel experiences Your mission Deliver end-to-end solutions: Take independent ownership of data products from the initial concept and rigorous data validation all the way to deployment, automated triggering, and monitoring. Weigh impact vs. complexity: Evaluate project suitability by balancing potential business value against technical effort, knowing exactly when to use machine learning and when a simpler heuristic will do the trick. Write robust, scalable code: Develop clean, well-documented, and unit-tested Python code while optimizing system performance through query enhancements, caching, and parallelization. Drive insights and experimentation: Run deep-dive analyses, set up thorough A/B experiments, and create compelling visualizations to guide product strategy and share learnings with stakeholders. Ensure reliability: Set up basic monitoring and alerting for input, output, and business metrics, acting quickly on any anomalies to maintain system health and meet SLOs. Elevate the team: Actively participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to the team's technical roadmap and operational processes. Your toolkit Practical ML experience: You have 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience building and validating machine learning models for production environments. Solid engineering fundamentals: You are proficient in Python and care deeply about code quality, testing, and applying software engineering best practices. Analytics: You are highly capable with SQL and data manipulation tools (like pandas or polars) and have a strong grasp of statistics and hypothesis testing. Problem solving skills: You can comfortably take a high-level business problem, design a technical solution for it, and execute it at the feature level with minimal hand-holding. Communication: You naturally build bridges; translating complex data and ML concepts into plain language for non-technical product and business partners. Extras that give you an edge Hands-on experience building with LLMs and Agentic AI (e.g., prompt design, RAG, or orchestration tools like LangChain). Familiarity with distributed machine learning and computing frameworks like Spark. Prior experience working in growth, marketing tech, or a fast-paced e-commerce marketplace. An advanced degree in a quantitative field like computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
