(see requirements below) starting at $ 32.02 Posting Specifics Entry Rate: $38.77 depending on experience Benefits Eligible: Yes, check them out  here Shift Details: Part-time, 20 hours per week, day shifts Sign-on Bonus up to $3000 for eligible applicants Minimum Qualifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) cross-trained in MRI Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers IV Certification within 30 days of hire Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Specialty tech in training: Minimum Qualifications Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Applicable State License Currently attending and receiving formal training from an accredited training program or successful completion of formal training from an approved/accredited school or a licensed American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) technologist who has been selected to cross-train in another modality. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years customer service or patient care experience IV Certification Essential Functions Maintains American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions. Exhibits leadership skills, acts as a mentor and role model, works with minimal supervision, and can provide direction to the team in the coordinator/manager’s absence. Trains and mentors new staff and students.  Acts as a lead tech when assigned. Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy. Adheres to MRI safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment. Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality. Assists and instructs students and other MRI Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment. Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns. Practices appropriate infection control and sterile techniques. Understands and operates equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images. Keeps accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions. Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reporting equipment failures.
