Technician 3, Process

Job Summary: The Sputter Process Technician is responsible for executing process characterization activities, ensuring sputter process meets key performance parameters, and supporting production through process monitoring and adjustments.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform process characterization for sputter equipment and materials. Conduct  buy-off by verifying key process input variables (KPIV), including pressure, temperature, and voltage. Perform measurements and data collection for characterization samples. Monitor key process output variables (KPOV) during production to ensure process stability and product quality. Perform process adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and resolve deviations. Assist in troubleshooting process and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of process parameters, test results, and adjustments. Adhere to safety guidelines and cleanroom protocols at all times. REQUIRED: Diploma or certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or sputter process operations is an advantage. SKILLS: Knowledge of process control parameters and measurement techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. PREFERRED : Background in semiconductor or manufacturing WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
