About the Role The Technical Account Manager is a key technical partner responsible for leading the planning, architecture, coordination, and delivery of professional services engagements. This role focuses on designing and managing high-impact availability solutions, with a strong emphasis on data protection and monitoring, while ensuring successful outcomes for customers. What You’ll Do Contribute to proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) Deliver implementation and consulting services aligned with Veeam solutions Manage projects including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communication Support solution design, assessment, and implementation effort estimation Troubleshoot post-implementation issues and optimize customer environments Develop technical documentation and best practices Deliver customer training and knowledge transfer sessions Support pre-sales activities and identify opportunities to expand Veeam solutions Act as a liaison between customers and Veeam Support Drive continuous improvement of processes and documentation What You’ll Bring Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and/or Hyper-V Hands-on experience with Veeam solutions or other backup/data protection technologies Good understanding of storage and backup architectures (e.g., NetApp, Dell, HPE, etc.) Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and modern IT environments Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals (e.g., common threats, backup/DR best practices) Experience in consulting, implementation, or project delivery Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in parallel Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions Business-level Japanese and conversational English proficiency (ability to communicate with global teams) Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, Microsoft, or similar) are a plus, not mandatory What You’ll Get Paid annual leave plus 4 extra global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares Flexible Spending Allowance (FSA) for medical, dental, vision, wellness, fitness, and tech-related expenses Opportunities to learn and grow through on-demand libraries (LinkedIn Learning, O’Reilly), mentoring, workshops, and learning events like our annual Global Day of Learning #LI-Hybrid #LI-EL1 Veeam Software is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination in any form on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state or local law.
