What you’ll be doing
As a Partner Sales Manager focused on partner acquisition, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new enterprise retail partnerships. You will operate as a hunter-driven sales professional, owning the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through to deal closing, while operating in a highly cross-functional environment and engaging with senior decision-makers on the client side.
Day-to-day in this role, you’ll:
Lead active prospecting campaigns targeting enterprise retail chains, identifying and qualifying new partnership opportunities across the market
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through strategic outreach, cold calling, networking, and partnership prospecting
Own end-to-end sales execution for new enterprise accounts, from initial outreach through proposal development and deal closure
Lead complex negotiations with C-level and senior stakeholders across large retail organizations to structure mutually beneficial partnerships
Develop compelling pitches and proposals that demonstrate clear value propositions and commercial benefits for retail partners
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify untapped partnership opportunities and market gaps
Leverage AI tools for lead identification, account research, deal prioritization, and sales forecasting
Drive data-informed decision-making using pipeline analytics, forecasting tools, and performance metrics to optimize your sales efforts
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to structure deal terms and enable successful partnership launches
Execute outbound campaigns using multiple channels (phone, email, in-person meetings) to build relationships with key decision-maker
Our humble expectations
3 to 5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, with a proven track record of hunting, prospecting, and closing new business
Direct experience in Retail, E-commerce, Marketplace, or Omnichannel environments with demonstrated success in partner or vendor acquisition
Strong track record of new business generation , including ownership of pipeline building, consistent prospecting, and hitting/exceeding revenue targets
Proven ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and extended decision-making processes
Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated success engaging and closing C-level executives
Self-motivated hunter mentality with strong drive to prospect, qualify, and close new business independently
Strong commercial and financial acumen (pricing, unit economics, deal structuring) to structure enterprise partnerships
Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and drive deals forward independently with minimal hand-holding
Data-driven mindset with experience in pipeline management, forecasting, and sales analytics
Nice to have:
Experience in entrepreneurship, grocery retail or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)
Familiarity with marketplace or platform-based business models, logistics and delivery operations
