About this role
Within
Aladdin Product Engineering – Private Markets , we are hiring an
Associate Software Engineer (Full Stack)
to contribute to the development and evolution of
eFront
Invest , a critical application within the Aladdin platform.
eFront
Invest is the core system for Private Markets Investment Management, supporting workflows
end ‑ to ‑ end
from fund raising and deal flow through fund management and accounting. As part of a
global engineering organization , you will work closely with engineers across multiple locations, contributing
hands ‑ on
to a large,
long ‑ lived ,
cloud ‑ deployed
software platform.
This role is suited for an engineer with
prior professional experience
who is comfortable contributing productively in an existing codebase and who is looking to grow deeper technical and domain
expertise
over time.
About you
You are a software engineer who enjoys working on
real‑world,
business‑critical
systems , where correctness, data quality, and maintainability matter. You are comfortable taking ownership of
well‑defined
features and components , while collaborating closely with more senior engineers on larger or more complex initiatives.
You are curious and eager to learn, open to feedback, and motivated to continuously improve your technical skills and understanding of the Private Markets domain. You take pride in the quality of your work and understand the impact it has on downstream users and systems.
What you will be doing
Designing and implementing
features and enhancements
within the
eFront
Invest platform
Working across the
full software development lifecycle , including development, testing, deployment, and production support
Developing and
maintaining
backend services and APIs
using .NET technologies
Contributing to
web‑based
user interfaces
using modern
front ‑ end
technologies
Writing
clear, maintainable code , with
appropriate test
coverage and attention to edge cases
Participating actively in
code reviews , technical discussions, and team ceremonies
Diagnosing and fixing issues in existing systems, including legacy components, with guidance where appropriate
Contributing to
CI/CD pipelines
and learning the operational aspects of running software in production
Collaborating closely with engineers, QA, and product partners across locations
Leveraging modern IDEs and
AI‑assisted
development tools
to improve productivity and code quality

What you bring
A Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics , or a related technical discipline
Professional experience
building and supporting production software systems
Strong foundation
in
object‑oriented
programming
and relational databases
Experience working in
existing codebases , not just greenfield projects
Ability to independently deliver solutions to
well‑defined
problems
Solid analytical and
problem ‑ solving
skills
Professional fluency in
English , written and spoken
