Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer who will serve as the primary point of contact for our customer, working on-site on Fort Meade, MD. What you’ll do: Administer and optimize AWS environments, ensuring seamless integration within hybrid infrastructures, and maintaining robust security postures Deliver cloud solutions tailored to client requirements, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing best practices for cloud operations Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with organizational objectives, all while upholding strict security standards What you’ll need: 5 years of AWS development experience and/or AWS administration skills Systems engineering experience (ex: VMWare, VCenter, ESXi, etc.) Experience working in hybrid environments Experience with tools such as: AWS CloudFormation, IAM, EC2, VPC, and monitoring solutions like CloudWatch DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ Experience with customer-facing communication and collaboration Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 4 years of technical experience in lieu of degree Bonus points if you have: Experience with SOC (Security Operations Center) operations and requirements Clearance : Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
