Key Responsibilities
Lead and independently execute assigned global trade and ERP‑related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations. Define and document project scope, deliverables, requirements, tasks, and timelines aligned with Global Trade and enterprise objectives. Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into detailed process flows, functional specifications, and system designs for Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM), Customs Management, and related ERP platforms. Proactively track milestones, identify risks or dependencies, and communicate issues, recommendations, and status updates to Global Trade Operations leadership. Serve as a key liaison between Global Trade, IT, and external partners during system configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation stabilization. Analyze import/export transactions and large data sets to identify compliance gaps, root causes, automation opportunities, and process efficiencies. Lead or coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities for trade compliance processes, including screening, tariff classification, and trade documentation reviews. Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and process documentation; deliver or support end‑user training and change management activities. Prepare and present operational performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical insights to support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide subject‑matter guidance to junior analysts and cross‑train team members as needed. Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and other advanced trade compliance activities as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) strongly preferred. 6+  years of experience in global trade compliance, import/export operations, ERP systems, or project‑based roles. Advanced working knowledge of global logistics operations, customs regulations, and trade compliance requirements. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, communicate clearly, and present to leadership. Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis capabilities. Self‑directed, proactive, and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and mentor less‑experienced team members. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools, including Excel, Power BI, Visio, Smartsheet, JIRA, or similar platforms. Ability to write SQL queries and develop or maintain macros to support analytics and reporting is a strong advantage.
Advanced working knowledge of INCOTERMS and global customs and trade compliance requirements. Strong understanding of import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). Hands‑on experience with Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) or comparable Global Trade Management systems. Practical experience working in Agile or hybrid project management environments. Advanced analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy when handling complex transactional and compliance‑related data.
