Senior Software Engineer I

We are looking for a senior developer with hands-on experience in full-stack development, with a strong track record in designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in Java or Scala, automated test frameworks, REST APIs, Microservices, and modern front-end frameworks like React. About the role In this opportunity as a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you will: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Scala and modern front-end frameworks. Develop RESTful APIs and microservices. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers. Implement automated tests as part of delivery. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or S3. Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding standards are followed. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance. Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform). Ensure application security and data protection. About you You’re a fit for the role of a Senior Front-End/Back-End Developer if you have the following required qualifications: 5 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE or Scala development. Proficiency with React or similar frameworks for front-end development. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and Microservices architecture. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools. Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
